Cutting Layout Preparation – Marker Making
Using the modern INVENTEX software, I create highly precise cutting markers.
Preparing a well-optimized marker (cutting layout) is essential, as it helps reduce production costs by minimizing fabric waste and the time needed to arrange and trace patterns onto the fabric.
I have the knowledge, skills, and software tools to position the patterns on paper in a way that ensures the best possible results. The cutting layouts take into account factors such as fabric width, size range, fabric types, grainline direction, and elements requiring fusing or reinforcement.
This stage of production planning can only begin once I receive all the necessary information from you, including the number of pieces you want to produce, the size distribution, and the fabric width. Properly prepared markers allow for precise calculation of the materials needed for your order.
You can receive the finished markers printed on paper, saved on a USB drive, or sent electronically to a specified address using file conversion tools.
I work with a wide-format inkjet plotter – InvenJet 1800 C2H – with a maximum printing width of 178 cm. I use adhesive paper.
